This was AMAZING!! The spiciest Ali Hazelwood book I’ve read to date. Lovable characters and some of the best SPICY scenes I’ve ever read!!!
I was crying by the end and fell absolutely in love with these two. This might be my new favorite Ali book!!!
Also highly recommend the audiobook. The MMC is Swedish and it’s very nice to hear his accent! The narration for both the FMC and MMC are very well done, good narration, easy flow and dual narration for their parts!

Every emotion was felt in this book but EXHILARATING was the top one here. This book DID NOT STOP, not for one minute, and it leaves you absolutely breathless. This is the most action packed book of the series (so far)!!

Fans of Shadowhunters, you’ll want to get this! Demon hunting exorcists!!
I think this book is so unique. The setting is a new one for me, being set in Rome, in Vatican City! The author did a great job of describing the setting that I was able to picture it so clearly.
My favorite part though, is 100% the characters. Selene and Jules are WONDERFUL, beautifully written characters and I love them so much. I think she has made 2 very lovable characters that make you root for them so easily. Their banter is simply a wonderful thing to read and I loved every moment of it!! And Sparrow! I loved him so much, he was an amazing side character!!

It combines the action of Shadowhunters/Serpent & Dove an adds in the softness of Divine Rivals. Along with the most beautiful cover, this book will definitely be a favorite this year!

This hurts to write this!!!!!!
Adrienne Young is one of my favorite authors and an auto buy author for me, but this will be my last adult book of hers that I will read.
I haven’t really enjoyed her adult books so far but I keep giving them a chance in hopes that her beautiful writing will come out and while I see glimpses of her beautiful prose, the story is just BORING. A mystery novel should have turns and twists and keep you on the edge of your seat, but I could not care less about this story or these people.
I will absolutely read the next YA fantasy book she writes but these adult books are giving boring white lady mystery books, with no actual substance in them!!! I just am so sad, I want to love her transition to adult books but it’s just not working for me.

I’m not sure where I sit with this book because I think the setting is amazing, the writing is nice, the characters are cute.
But overall, I was bored. I am not sure if it’s because it’s a vampire book and I expect more from those kinds of books but, overall I was not really fond of this.
The MMC was the vampire in this but he was clumsy? I didn’t really find his character to be very appealing. The FMC is AMAZING. Her confidence is perfect and I love her! I love how he was scared of her when he was the vampire because she was so strong/confident and knew exactly who she was and what she wanted.
Overall, the book is cute. But I personally did not love it. I wanted to love it but I just found myself bored at most of the story about 30% in until the end (the beginning is great!).
Audiobook narrator did a great job! It flows really well and it was wonderful hearing a narrator that matched the story.
