i finished wylei this morning, finished bte just now and i had high hopes. seeing more of hannah’s pov. getting more parallels of the scenes we got in wylei, more inside. i didn’t like the time jumps as much but i am glad we got more of their story and their love for each other. saw them grow a bit more, tackling the daily life and their future together. it wasn’t bad at all, i just wasn’t better than expected

to love and to be loved, unconditionally, full of trust, wholeheartedly.
i really loved this book. it’s just warm, like a warm hug. sometimes i got a bit distanced but they pulled me right back in.

the book could’ve gotten more stars if it was more my cup of tea. don’t get me wrong, it’s a god read with likeable characters, it’s just too young? i am growing beyond the high school stuff and if it doesn’t get me… nevertheless, noah, you’ve always been enough. every noah in this world is enough. or every asher.

not sure how to rate it cause i did like it but i was too confused in the beginning and then… idk something was missing. maybe i wasn’t in the right mindset or the story just didn’t click with me. possibilities over possibilities. although, i’d read a book from haley again

I tried to form an opinion about the book before reading it, some were enthusiastic, a lot of them confused. and I thought I’d like it, especially after recognising some things in the beginning but it went downhill from there. I really don’t know how to rate the book or what to think of it, I am just a bit lost.
read it if you want to but you won’t miss much, especially if you know how to behave within your boundaries.

"this is part of growing up. you’re not always going to be able to please and protect everyone you love. the best thing you can do when life is hard is try your best."

to be fair, i only read it cause i read the first book ages ago. the second one didn’t get me as much, but that’s on me and not being interested enough. it was sweet. i think people will like it more than i do, yet i don’t have a rating

despite me finishing the book in two days, i don’t know how to rate it. as always, didn’t check the plot and was thrown into a world i hadn’t read about before. it wasn’t bad? i might have to come back to one or two scenes, yet sometimes things were missing. idk. i don’t have a set opinion about it. i liked the part “”being aromantic is a thing, you know?” cassie said. acacia glared at her. “don’t commander a real identity just because you’re afraid of getting hurt.”” cause i thought it was important to be dropped. do not recommend rewarding it at work.

“flattery will get you nowhere.”
cassie cracked up. “that’s blatantly untrue.”

I literally couldn’t put it down. I just had to continue reading it. I wouldn’t say I loved it, due to all the very very valid and accurate flaws pointed out in the reviews, yet I really enjoyed it. An easy read that didn’t require me to think much. The characters didn’t feel like too much, I was able to relate here and there, sometimes it was though. It could be a nice easy winter read in front of the fire on a Sunday afternoon.

“not only is she practically a ray of sunshine, but… she doesn’t treat me like the girl who lost her mom. the ghost of the girl she used to be”

where’s my summer romance with a happy ending? super cute, likeable characters, easy read with maybe one or two tear-jerking moments. could’ve been 5/5 but the author sadly lost me a bit in the ending. maybe it was on me too. even if the plot and the twists were more than predictable, i had to continue reading. and maybe blake is a person i would like to meet in real life too.
