I heard about this book from a TikToker who was actively sobbing as he read and goddamn do I get it. The first half hit me harder than the second half, but I loved this book because Wren and Lewis had such a genuine love which set them up for such a deep heartbreak. It also kind of brings up the idea of, ethically, if you knew you were passing on a mutation that would almost inevitably affect your child's life, would you still have that child.

What I liked:

• Blake's 28
• Blake had a different dynamic with the two boys
• Dom used a condom for anal so he could go vag after
• Blake wildly shooting the gun after she grabbed it to get rid of the bullets (an icon)

What I didn't like:

• Blake didn't have much of a personality to me, aside from her and Zayden's dynamic
• The disrespect of Blake's choice when it came to condoms and birth control
• The lack of explanation when it came to how Dom got that one guy's loyalty and how they made it to Maxim's house
• Poor decoy guy ):

Undecided about the Maksim twist and Zayden as a whole cause I like the unhinged obsessed thing but the condom and birth control really icked me

Ugh, I was expecting more of that whole Naomi and making Taylor jealous situation but really nothing came of it. I don't think he really did anything to prove to Taylor that he was serious about her. And the fact that Jason was pissed that Taylor's had a romantic past AND she wasn't on board with his community dick ways???? What a little pissy brat!!!! I really liked the dynamic between Taylor and Jason, but the ending really just pissed me off. Men really have nothing but the audacity!!

I do love that Taylor immediately made a girlboss move with her career cause if there's one trope I hate (aside from surprise pregnancy), it's when the bad bitch woman quits her job for a man.
