I have a bad habit of not rereading when a new installment comes out so I usually spend the first few chapters both confused about the story and who the characters are (especially in a WY). 

Remy should try like a scented oil or vick's vapo rub under her nose to help with the blood smell nausea. I do love how Trip had a bucket for her and the guys were hosing down the blood as she was torturing, to be loved is to be known!!!

First of all, Pia slays. Second of all, hearing Frost's specific curse makes me dislike him less. It's still annoying but I get it a bit more. I also totally thought Maven was a necromancer and then she hit us with the "I'm not a necromancer."

I was absolutely hollering at Maven to kill Sierra so I'm glad Silas finally did it. I support women's wrongs, but that bitch was too much!!!!

I'm glad Maven made the decision to go full in with her quintet cause they're so cute together. I'm also very happy with her and Kenzie's friendship.

I don't know what it is but the visual of friends booing each other always tickles me. I love Kenzie, I hope she lives forever and isn't dead. I also really like Maven's character. Honestly I'm kind of over the whole "hurt the FMC to protect her from myself" trope so Frost is on my shit list. Crypt is my fave, god help me do I love an unhinged man.

Zoe is such a gem, she's so patient and understanding of Vodyan. Also at first I was a little skeptical about a Vodnik being named Vodyan but I guess it would be the equivalent of a human being named Hugh or something.

I don't think I'll read Vault but god do I love the fake lips on that cover. I don't like Seph so even though it's MK-centered, I don't think I'm gonna bother.

Steinwick and Anna absolutely slayed, huge fan of them both. Also the stalker reveal did indeed surprise me, I love it (not who the stalker was or the fact that he was stalking in the first place, but the fact that it both made sense and I didn't see it coming). I also love that they all went to therapy to cope with everything and heal from it.

Steele better have cleaned that peen of his before going in her vag. I'm also not entirely sure of when Kate met Hades but I do hope it was when she and Kody were about to fuck in the bathroom cause that would be funny.

I'm glad Bree finally got all that stuff off her chest cause she was indeed acting sketchy. I'm hella team Bree now after she socked Archer in the face!!!!

I love Cass, especially cause I've already read him in the Hades books. He's like a grumpy uncle.

If we had different POVs I would probably feel different but I cannot stand Archer and his fucking ATTITUDE. "I hate myself for loving you when I have no right" first of all, you're like 20 and second of all, YOU CAN STILL BE NICE.

I definitely understand Steele's trauma and triggers but he had no right to guilt MK when she reacted to a MAJOR CHANGE!!! I hate when that happens, when the FMC "realizes" that they screwed up, when they didn't!!! Like how tf is she responsible for unknowingly triggering Steele while the boys were lowkey gaslighting her!! Also Archer and Kody deserved that steroid situation cause they were the ENEMIES.

God I am getting so sick of Archer's fucking attitude, he better be on his goddamn KNEES for MK

I considered DNF-ing about halfway through cause she's just so young and Archer is such a little bitch. And the men gaslighting her toward the end??? There's a chance that I won't finish this series tbh

Trask??? What kind of name is "Trask"??? 

A lot of very introspective bits in this book and a lot of summarizing River's relationships with the different men which did get a little repetitive but would be good for someone who has normal reading habits and doesn't just tear through a series in a few days. This book dragged on a bit too, I was tempted to just give up a few times.

I wish the idea of the secret society had been introduced earlier in the books, it would have made the whole reveal with Alec much more exciting. I'm still not entirely sure why River didn't just kill him after the whole Gage debacle. Like why did she go through that whole rigamarole of joining the society?? Yeah there's the threat of dying, but that happens all the time for them.

Alec being her biological father was kind of a fun twist at least. The removal of her implant mid-sex is not safe!!! Not sterile!!!

Reign Of Wrath by Eva Ashwood

I know the guy on this cover is Ash cause of the glasses and I think the previous one was Gage so the blondie on the first one must be Knox and the last blondie is Priest. I love how domestic they've become and, even though she's nervous to say it out loud, how she and the boys have really leaned into how much they care about each other and worked on integrating lives.

They really out here just using her natural lubricant for anal, huh. The girl is gonna end up with fissures!!!

I had read the blurb of the next book and I totally thought it was gonna be Cody she shot but I was wrong (probably a good thing since Cody's been through it and is also 4).
