This book started off strong. My favorite thing about Katee Robert is that each book and characters are completely different. In my opinion I wish they had established their relationship first before including other people. The plot was also a little lost on me. Wish it was developed more. I’m still left with questions.

I was super excited to read this as one of the tropes is Grumpy girl and sunshine guy. The book felt very slow going. I’m all for building the relationship but it felt way too much back and forth. 50% in the book they barely had kissed.

The FMC has a lot of issues feeling like a burden(which I understand) but she makes choices that make you understand why people worry.

I wish that the friendship group was more close because I hate the idea of not being truthful and how can you say your friends and can’t simply say how you feel?

Thank you for giving me this arc. This is my first Eric LaRocca book and I am impressed. The writing is absolutely incredible—captivating.

Each story was more disturbing and grotesque.

Highly recommend to read!!

This book is a very good start to get informed on many movements and activism we are facing still now til this day.

It touches on MANY aspects as racism—Palestine— systematic oppression—feminism.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs a general sense of how activism and starting a movement is so important.

Some parts did seem repetitive but also have different view points.

Emily Henry is one of my favorite authors. Every story she writes is gut wrenching but beautiful. Beach read will forever be my favorite from her but this THIS was absolutely spectacular. I am in love with Daphne and Miles. The banter—chemistry flowed so well. I was rooting for both of them.

I related to both characters in different ways. I recommend this book to anyone who loves more realistic approaches to relationships. Although faking dating is one of the tropes there’s not this typical back and forth between them.

I am so excited to buy the hard copy of this.

So so grateful for this arc.

The book itself was okay. The romance aspect was extremely fast paced but the plot of the story was slow.
