This was ok, some of the stories were really good and some were meh. 

Didn’t have the sense of urgency to finish. It’s very long!

Haunting and metaphorical af. A beautiful and poetic look at grief and loss and learning to let go. Whew.

This was fine. I love a retelling, so I picked this up. In the author’s notes, Kingfisher writes that they were heavily influenced by SMGs Mexican Gothic, and you can tell! The mushroom descriptions made me gag, but I think that was the best part! This also gave me a hint of The Last of Us vibes.
