This book kept is what I would consider wild from start to finish. Drug trips, gun shots, and desperate attempts at connections all kept me entertained and would not let me put the book down. There was not one point where I was bored of reading. I laughed, I cried a bit, I was afraid for a moment (read: for a great portion of the book) but I needed to know what came next. Loved it!

This book was honestly such an internal monologue that raised so many questions and insight to what war means in regards to reality; had to finish it. But the pace that kept me going was wondering if Billy would ever get his Advil.

Yes, he does finally gets his Advil. It was a small victory in this fucked up situation of having to return to the war.
