200 pages of excessive purple prose with no breathing room. I found it so inaccessible and unnecessarily lengthening. Did not enjoy.

It reads like A Game of Thrones if it just wasn't as good LOL sorry
Lots of intrigue, very engaging writing style, enjoyed the commentary/critique on the hoarding of resources and religious fanaticism but ultimately can't recommend. Invested in the first half's great set-up and then the second half just let me down tremendously. Wasn't enough story for me. It is what it is.
