this was a good read esp mystery wise! i honestly wasn’t expecting a lot of the twists. the setting is also very cool 1400s korea cmon it’s awesome i also really liked the ending.

i really disliked this book. maybe it just wasn’t for me but i seriously wanted to dnf it multiple times. i finished it solely because i was too far in already. none of the characters appealed to me and the prose fell flat. none of the themes felt as deeply explored as i would’ve liked. i genuinely thought i was going to like this a lot but it wasn’t good 😭. it got an extra .5 because it made me laugh in a few spots.

i thought this book was really good and one i couldn’t not put down! i really liked both zafira and nasir. i don’t think i’ll fully processed this book so i might come back soon. OH the writing was really good and i was for real blushing at some of the scenes.

this one was a quick and cute read!! nothing too crazy it’s just a cute little romance but seriously books like this are making my standards wayyy to high — the book overall was quite slow although the latter half was much better than the first and i still finished it within 2 days so!! take that as you will.

i quite enjoyed a desi ya romance novel from the perspective of a male character it was rlly interesting and i liked all the characters a lot and how they didn’t judge each other and were accepting even if they differed on viewpoints of their lives.

this book was AMAZING i would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a diverse fantasy and the way the author seamlessly joined history with fantasy really made the book even better. the characters were phenomenal and i loved bree as the main character.
