It’s so depressing to think about all the medical malpractice that has happened to black people , especially women and it makes me loose a little faith in humanity every time . Still, I think it’s important to tell these stories so that they do not happen again. Rest in Peace Henrietta Lacks

This book is good considering that it was Ali’s first fantasy book but sometimes I really got annoyed with how it was written. It made me feel a little like I was being talked down to and some of the sex scenes came out of nowhere and honestly could have been kept out because they were just confusing ☹️love  Mrs hazelwood though 😻😻
