I’d not usually go for a short stories book however I really enjoyed this one and I’m glad I took a punt on buying it. I loved how each story had a tenuous link to each other. Whether it was from cameos in each of the stories or the links from the disgraced detective after each one. My favourite was definitely ‘Dust’. I’ll definitely be reading more from this author.

I’d already pre-ordered the sequel by the time I’d read only a few chapters which must say something.
The last 2 chapters even had me crying.

I picked this book up on a whim purely because I liked the cover. I’m so glad that I did. I thought it was going one way but then it went a totally different way. A really creepy read full of amazing details, at some points I felt like I was there. I even cried a few times towards the end.
I’ll definitely be reading more of her books.
