4,5/5⭐️ 2,5/5

In this story, we discover the life of Kim Jiyoung, a Korean woman. Throughout the different stages of her life, she experiences misogyny: at school, at work, in her own family. The book includes studies and statistics, showing how sexism is rooted in society and how these issues apply to a majority of women.

I loved reading this book, it was a quick but touching and informative read. It saddens me to see how little has changed in today’s society, but it was very interesting to discover what it’s like to be a woman in Korea (societal norms, etc). It’s different from what I usually read, but I enjoyed it a lot and I’ll try to read more books like this in the future!
