I feel like this book has validated the anger and other emotions I've been feeling since I was a kid.
I was so mad during certain parts and I just wanted to cry because I felt every single one of them. Literally none of this is fair but we've gotten used to this and I really hate it.
Almost every woman has experienced atleast a bit of what Ji young went through but cis men aren't even aware of all this. why?
It's really like despite of all the changes in laws and rules nothing has actually changed.
I just wish this book had a Tamil translation so I could make my mother read this.
More than men who'd probably stay unaffected even after reading this book, i wish more women who are struggling with internalized misogyny read this.
