My first PNR experience

So I never read PNR but I was in a bit of a book slump and I heard so many good things about this series so I gave it a try and I am so glad I did! I am just obsessed with this book- I love the characters and the storyline so much. It was fun and steamy and I can’t wait to see where things go from here. I never expected to fall in love with a PNR story but I’m so excited about it that I am going to dive right into book 2!

why are they talking like that? i get it’s supposed to be funny sassy badass and what have you but it just comes off as an older person trying to write how millennials talk like eww

also she was abused… and now we are thrown into the start of a bdsm relationship with strangers and lose rules? like why do these authors make the woman have sexual trauma and make her be with supper alpha bdsm loving dudes? i’m tired and i want more for us! if she was not in that abusive dynamic before this would have not bothered me as much.

don’t even get me started on the men. who walks around calling themselves a badass every two seconds.. erkh

like i want to know more about the world and mystery( i have my guesses) but i just can’t anymore.

why did I wait so long to start this series?!

I absolutely love the way this starts out and how the side characters grip you as much as the main characters. The story starts out with Saige, a green witch who has an awesome relationship with her gran (who I’m slightly obsessed with) who meets the four new tenants of the rental apartment above her store… who also happen to be hot af mages with pretty cool abilities of their own. When a mysterious prophecy is told, things start happening around Saige that she just can’t explain. With the help of Cam, Fisher, Kai, & Sloane she’s discovering new things that could affect her future and path in life BUT little does she know they actually came to town as agents of a company after her mom. Will everything crumble when this is revealed or will they be too entangled to let each other go at that point? There’s also the little fact that a mystery man is showing up in her dreams which actually seem to be transporting her to another realm while asleep. I can’t wait for more of these characters and their story.

Great recommendation from a friend!

So I picked up this book on a recommendation and all I have to say is Thank You! This book was amazing. Funny, sexy as sin and engrossing. I got no work done whilecreading this because I could not walk away. Anxiously awaiting book 2 now.

I can’t believe this is Britt Andrews’ first book. It is so well written, the characters are so memorable (and swoon worthy) and those sesh scenes, wowza.

Firstly, we have our FMC, Saige. Funny, sassy, strong and plus size! Finally a character I can relate more too. I thought she would be the female character I would enjoy the most but then we have her grandmother, Gran. She might be one of my favorite parts of the books. Absolutely hilarious, she stole the show in all her scenes. I want to be Gran when I grow up.

Then we have our men. Yes, men. Each with their own distinct personality, physical characteristics and... *ahem* preferences. You can’t help but pick a favorite even though you love them all. I think the author did a great job introducing them and keeping the readers very, very interested.

Looking forward to the rest of this trilogy!

I should have followed my gut and not started this book. I read some reviews and was a little concerned I might not like this writing style but I went for it because it has such a high star rating.
I don't enjoy daddy kink
I don't enjoy words like cringy peen and cunt, if it's just once in a while I get over it but I have a feeling this author just uses too many cringy words for me. Peen? Ugh I hate that word.
Anyway I'm not going to waste any further time on the second half of this book as its just not for me.
