Really liked the whole book until the ending. I don’t think that Faythe forgiving Nik is the way it would’ve happened. Won’t be reading the rest of them

This is just a very standard Fae fantasy novel, I can see the comparisons people make to Throne of Glass, it almost follows the plot beat for beat. But that could also be because the first novel of Throne of Glass follows a very standard run of the mill, formulaic first book. As a matter of fact most of the plot twists in the book such as who the male fighter is and Nik's background were predictable and I saw it coming a mile away.

I will give credit where credit is due, I did not see the plot-twist that happened in epilogue to come.
