ARC Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!!!

Book: Ravaged Soul by J Rose

Nooo the epilogue ending!!! This is going to be a mind blowing twist, and I'm all here for it

“𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘳𝘦𝘥. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦. 𝘚𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘴. 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮… 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺.”

Reading a J Rose book always feels like coming home! Her familiar writing style, the way she will burrow her characters into my soul. It's a painful process, and I fall for it time and time again. This was the much needed sequel of the Anaconda Tales trilogy, and I'll be anxiously awaiting the third book

“𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶,”

I absolutely love Ember! She's a fiesty and fierce character. I live for the found family feelings, and this one hits just right. It doesn't surprise me that I'm once again obsessed with these men. I love their dynamics and individual traits! The obsessiveness and overprotective tendencies have me in a chokehold, I need more

“𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦𝘴. 𝘐𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦. 𝘕𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.”

I want to thank the author for sending me an eARC to read and review 🖤 I'm forever grateful to be a part of your ARC team

This is the second book in the Anaconda Tales Series. You need to read Fractured Future first or you are going to be lost. This book picks up where we left off in Fractured Future. The time has come for revenge with the things that have happened to Ember in the first book. She has Sabre Security at their back and Gael better run. But things are never that simple and that is about all I can tell you about the story. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone. If your looking for a tough as nails, take no prisoners, give as good as she gets female character, then you have found her in Ember. This girl has been though so much and she just picks herself up and keeps on going. I love all the guys and the way they support her. They are equally obsessed with her too. I love them all so much I don't think that I could pick on to be my favorite. I can tell you that you won't be laying this book down once you pick it up. It is so freaking good. I am hooked and maybe a little obsessed with this series. I cannot wait to get the next book in my hands and find out what is going to happen. Buckle up!!! And have the best time reading this book.

So so good! J Rose has done it again with the continuation with Ember, Blaine, Axel, Hyland, and Warner’s story in RAVAGED SOUL! The book was plot-heavy but I didn’t mind it one bit! There’s so much action and suspense that it had me hanging on the edge of my seat the whole time!

Ember is such a badass FMC! And the guys are all so uniquely different but I loved them all equally! Loved all of the touch-her-and-die vibes! Also loved the chronic illness rep, too!

There were so many twists and turns that took me on a RIDE. And that ending though! Really well done! J Rose never misses and this may be my favorite series of hers yet! I can’t wait to see how the story ends in book 3! 4.5⭐️

Thanks so much, J Rose and Valentine PR, for the #gifted book in exchange for my honest review! 💕

Ember and her guys pick up where we left off in book one and as always in the Sabre Security world, the stakes are high and no one is every really safe until the very end. Now they are dodging bounty hunters, looking for Tom as well as Gracie, and Ember is learning to accept that she isn't responsible for the actions of others whilst also trying to get her seizures under control.  I think this plotline has been worked in really well with the seizures have been folded in as part of Ember's everyday life rather than it being magically cured overnight. The scene with Blaine in the bathroom was one of my highlights; he is now in second place behind Warner.

J Rose is my shared universe queen; the cameos are always so natural and the crossovers never feel forced.  This time round I loved seeing people from Warner's past giving him a talking to about Ember.  Warner is my guy and I liked seeing his jealousy poking through; it made sense as he's loved Ember for so long. His inner monologue in the scene with Tom and the camera though was so funny and Jamie was a legend.  Warner definitely owes him a fruit basket!

Don't skip the epilogue; that is my favourite type of cliffhanger! I'm already looking forward to book three following that bombshell and hopefully we'll find out more about the Hunter and Nolan. I'm ready for the vengeance tour to keep going!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Thank you valentinePR & J Rose for the arc!!

I swear, every time she writes a book, they get better and better. As always, I love the crossover with the characters from other books!! Love, love, LOVE them!!

I truly thought this was going to be two books, but I was pleasantly surprised with how this one ended, and I’m so excited for the next one to see how it wraps up.

Had me crying in the club, and also laughing out loud

Also…Blaine…. I still love you……

Best dark romance reverse harem read of the year and the series isn’t even finished!

The character development, the fight like hell to move past what has happened to you and the love that is the glue holding you together. J Rose knocked it out of the park once again and I am counting down the days til the next release.

Where do I end begin? This book is so good. The author knows how to take you on a journey - that is for damn sure. The twists and turns in this book make it so you never know what’s coming. I love how Ember reacts differently with each guy and how each guy gives her something she needs after what she has been through. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

The second book in the Anaconda Tales series by J. Rose – Ravaged Soul – doesn’t disappoint for even a second.

J. Rose’s books are never just stories—they’re experiences. The plot, the characters, the action—everything pulls you in so deeply that you’re not just part of it; it becomes part of you. I absolutely love the way she conveys every emotion, every feeling, every thought passing through her characters. And with Ember, Warner, Hyland, Axel, and Blaine—there was a lot to convey.

✨"When you feel like you're drowning, the violence and pain become the only things keeping you afloat.✨

It was such a pleasure to return to them, as I’d missed them during all these months of waiting for the new installment in the series. Their story picks up shortly after where Fractured Future left off, and it immediately sucked me right back into the heart of the action.

✨"The world's a scary place when you feel completely alone in it. That's what makes rage so appealing, Em. It gives us power in those powerless moments. But that's also what makes it dangerous."✨

The rawness of everything that happens, the way the characters go through and process it, everything they feel, and the ever-deepening bond between them—it’s all portrayed so authentically, with no sugar-coating. It got under my skin so deeply that I truly lived through everything with them.

This book brings even more revelations, more pain, strength, and love between the characters—plus more action, tension, and heated moments that raise the temperature. It’s clear that J. Rose is in her element, once again writing like a beast to shake us to the core with Anaconda team’s story.
I got to know the men on the team much better and learned a lot about their pasts—what shaped them into who they are today. Axel and Blaine remain my favorites, but I can’t deny that Warner and Hyland are also a huge weakness of mine. All four of them are amazing, each in their own way. Ember grew tremendously in this book, which I attribute entirely to the fact that she finally allowed herself to be vulnerable, to feel, and to fully embrace the love these men were showering her with. Her growth revealed her true strength, and I genuinely can’t wait to see what happens to her in the next book.

✨"Survival is never selfish."✨

I expect the third and final book in the series to break my heart—only to piece it back together again. Either way, I won’t stop thinking about this series in the coming months, just like I haven’t stopped thinking about J. Rose’s books since I discovered them last year. They truly are an experience worth having—one after which it’s hard to find anything quite as good.

✨~~~This book was provided to me by J Rose for my honest opinion.~~~✨
