Thank you to the publishers for sending me an ARC of this book.
Our Stop was everything I wanted it to be and more.
This charming and witty book kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me wanting more. I couldn't put it down once I started.
David and Nadia sound like such a beautiful pair and the close calls of coming across each other were almost too much for me to handle but the way it all came together in the end melted my heart. And if a love story ever had fate written all over it, this was it.
(slight spoiler) I also love the mix of an LGBTQ+ relationship that is thrown in the mix with this book too. I didn't see that coming at all and it was very welcome indeed.
Laura Jane Williams writing style was beautiful and fun and I will definately check more out from her. She absolutely nailed it with this book and I loved it from start to finish.

This was a very pleasant, quick light read!! There were parts of the plot I didn’t particularly enjoy, and it the first 50 pages or so were kind of harder to get into - but the characters are loveable, and you end up rooting for the couple.
I don’t usually like books written from two POVs, but this time I didn’t mind and I found myself liking the guy’s POV better!

I didn’t exactly love this book and wasn’t sure what to write about it, so I’m just going to include a couple of thoughts I had during today’s book club chat (there may be a couple of minor spoilers below!).
The handling of modern relationships: I felt like Our Stop *tried* to be relevant in that it was VERY millennial. I liked how modern the scenarios felt in themselves, but I felt that the writing style and narrative tried to force the point of how modern it was a little too much

The premise of this story was very cute. Guy sees girl by chance and knows there’s a connection, but doesn’t want to be a creep about it. The author did a good job of fleshing out the characters as individuals, but it was hard to see their connection as a couple. There wasn’t enough interaction between them to build a solid chemistry IMO. But the whole point of the story was their missed connections, so it’s admittedly a tough balance to strike. Even so, it’s a fun listen for relaxing by the pool (listened to the audiobook.) The narrators were both excellent!
I saw someone recommend this book if I liked The FlatShare, so I read it. And I get very similar vibes. Light-cute-easy romance read. However, this is probably just my own issue, but sometimes I find it hard to know the PoV, even though the author states if it is Nadia or Daniel PoV, the author still used ‘she’ and ‘he’ not ‘i’ in the passage. So for me, it is quite confusing at times but once I had gotten the hang of it, it flows very easily. Overall a cute story, though I wished they had met sooner in the book, it just felt like they only met during the last few chapters and it could be much longer. The epilogue was also meh… like I NEED TO KNOW MORE!!! Nonetheless, a really good read and I’d recommend for people who like to read a light cute romance novel. The female main character is very relatable and the story is very realistic I’d say.
