Honestly o loved this. I enjoyed the characters and the overall story progression and I loved how the two MCs took so much focus and understanding on the growth they needed to do. Just wow

I liked the characters, but the ending felt a bit rushed.

It took a lot to get into as it felt repetitive of the first book at first. I did like the plot about the witch hunters, but felt the romance and connection between Gavin and Clem were missing.

Also the ending totally spoiled the 3rd book so I'm not even sure if I want to read it. I feel like too much was revealed of the other stories which stole from their books.

i liked the banter! i don't think the conflict was resolved fully? like he just kinda forgave her after she deceived him?

The second book in the fix-it witches series. Following a parallel time line to the first book, this story follows Clementine. As Clementine takes it upon herself to deal with a witch hunter that comes to town. The witch hunter, Gavin, proves to be a most welcoming perk and problem.

This one took me a second to get into. I didn’t like Gavin one bit and Clem annoyed me at points but I guess they both annoyed me in book 1. Clem is trying to distract Gavin, the witch hunter, from all the witches in town. Gavin doesn’t really understand why he's a witch hunter and keeps trying to push back from his dad's enforcement. The ending did wrap up really nicely and it got me excited for book 3.
