It really had me in the beginning, like I was hooked and couldn’t wait to read what was gonna happen next, then mid way through the book it got kinda boring… maybe it’s because their relationship had somewhat formed and they were moving forward idk? Also the ending was so rushed. One minute her dad was there and then the next chapter was them 20 years later, like dude what a jump…

A twisty, psychological thriller dark-romance type. This book was lowkey fcked up but not so fcked up that I was clutching my pearls like other dark romances do. Check your triggers ig but this was actually a bit softer than I anticipated. Minus 1 star because although I enjoyed the ending, it felt a bit rushed and I felt like the spicy scenes could’ve been spicier ? There are a few times that I was like 😮‍💨 but otherwise feel it could’ve been a bit more descriptive. Love me a dual perspective dark romance and really enjoyed how it touched on aspects like religious and family trauma. Also, fuck Tim he deserved what he got
