Shane. Oh, Shane.
That man is twisted but in a good way. Sera really lucked out with that man. This book is a dark romance book, so if that is not your jam, don't read it.
Shane and Sera are so addictive together. I couldn't put the book down and spent a day ignoring people just to finish it. The book has some good tropes like the stalker trope and the touch her and you die trope. I love those so much.

This book and maybe this author are just not for me.
Look, I KNOW it's dark romance, but for the main character to go from one @busive relationship to another is just not it for me. In my opinion, Shane is 100% abusive. Maybe that's my own trauma talking, though.
I do find the idea of Shane being a manipulative therapist to be very interesting though, and I would've liked to see that come into play more. I feel like it wasn't really explored.
One of my main issues is the extremely blurred lines on consent.
Just nooe, not the book for me.

Everything just felt forced and the story didn't have enough emotional navigation to even out the dark plot. I like where it was headed and then it took a nose dive into "what is happening here" town, but that's my personal opinion. Not my cup of tea, but it could be yours, give it a chance.
some guys say iloveyou and bring you flowers but this guy ambushes her abusive husband at his workplace and then uses said abusive husband’s car to drive over / park the car on the hand he used when he hurt her
