Wow...just wow. So many feelings...large quantities of tissues (rationed) have been used.

I read this novel with my sons (10 & 13).
We started this book right before the Pandemic began, and I must say it was the right book and the right time. This book is powerful, raw, and non formulaic. There are so many twist and turns (one or two that are slightly unbelievable): those twists and turns made for quite an adventure!

As a Children’s Librarian, I ordered this book knowing it would a hit with many of our Middle grade patrons, only to be the first and only patron(s) who have will have access to it for awhile. I am hoping patrons will purchase this book online or borrow the ebook from their local library, because, it is a must read.
