An updated version of Walk Two Moons with better character development. But it was so slow and plodding for the 1st three-quarters that I would have abandoned it if so many people hadn't told me to stick with it.

This now 5-year-old Middle Grade novel is basically a classic, and I get why! I don’t really recommend the audio (because adults reading first-person tweens is never going to work without being maudlin and weird as hell), but the story is wonderful. If you have a 10-14yo who hasn’t read this, get on board. I’ll read the new sequel soon! It just came out.
