Frat Around and Find out is the first book in the Peach State Fratbros series, I really enjoyed frat Lance and Ty story. Their discovery of their mutual attraction was fun to watch, these two have a great chemistry! But they try to ignore their feelings.

This book was a fun story filled with a lot of steamy moments and heartwarming too, Overall, Lance and Ty story has a great balance of humor and self discovery, I love this serie and can’t wait for more!!

Where rivals realize their tension is attraction

Lance and Ty are presidents of rival fraternities. Every year they go against each other trying to one up each other. However, when one of the challenges has them in a compromising position it makes them question their reactions to each other.

This book continues to be filled with rivalry but it also becomes two men attempting to figure out what is going on with them. Neither man has ever been drawn to a man before but they are willing to see where it goes.

Watching these two as they discover their new likes and wants is fantastic. We see moments of spontaneous jealousy that even confuses the one who is jealous. As they expirament they realize they are okay with this new relationship and even bring it out into the open.

I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what's next in the series.

Lance & Ty are fire together 🔥. I loved this easy, beautiful, funny and fun ride that Devon McCormack took us on with these two lovely, open minded and hilarious characters. It was very low angst and such a nice change of pace for what I normally read.

I loved Ty & Lance's dynamic and rivalry. It was so nice to see rivals without the hatred behind it, and to have them still remain competitive and rivalry after they discovered how interested in one another they truly were 😈.

Their entire situationship flowed so nicely and easily, showing how perfect the characters were for one another. I've only read one other book by Devon, but he is fastly becoming a favourite of mine! I love the simple complexity of his characters and the spice was to die for 🥵🔥. Lance and Ty were so hot with one another and I loved how dirty and slightly dorky they are with one another during their intimate scenes.

Often times I feel like intimacy between characters is 'too serious' and while I love those serious spicy moments, I enjoy the levity between MC's because at the end of the day sex I SUPPOSED to be fun 😊 🩷 Devon protrays that so epically particularly in this book😍🫠. You'll definitely want to check this beauty of a book out!
Honestly, I loved the whole crew of characters in this book and can't WAIT for Marty & Ryan's story 🥵🫶. Ryan is such a lovable himbo, and I am so here for it!

This was such a fun read! I love a good college romance involving frats and this did not disappoint. Ty and Lance are the presidents of rival frats at Peach State. I loved all of the frat shenanigans and the banter, I laughed a lot while reading this. I also really liked the secondary theme both main characters were dealing with. It was beautiful to see them help each other in the moments where they needed help and encouragment.
I loved the back and forth between Lance and Ty, and they got themselves into some hilarious predicaments. I also enjoyed how their relationship progressed and how cute they were together. I really enjoyed how jealous and possessive Ty got, while also wanting to do anything to make Lance happy. I loved how Ty wanted everything with Lance, and Lance was the same. Their passion for each other was palpable and it was great to see them navigate that. Lance was such a nice guy and I loved how helpful he was and how he was always there to support Ty.
I really enjoyed the rivalry between the two frats and I loved the friend groups! There is so much possibility going forwards, and I'm really excited to see the other pairings in this series.

Pick this up if you're in the mood for some fun frat shenanigans, great banter, lots of laughs, two great friend groups, and sweet and steamy moments.

Not even surprised I adored this book. Finished it in one sitting. Peach State is by far one of my favorite University themed book series, the Step Bro series was Soo good and I loved seeing snippets of them in this book.

Lance and Ty are adorable. Their start hilarious! Watching as Ty goes from playboy to absolutely feral for Lance is my favorite thing! Their connection was great! Cannot wait for more of this series!

Peach State Frats are back in the first spin off. I really liked this one. Rivals Lance and Ty are constantly at each other. Their respective frats playing jokes and competitions are what they do. When they are stuck together after a prank, they find themselves in a very embarrassing and compromising position.

However, their curiosity gets the best of them and they decide to see why they are drawn to each other. Jealous interaction spurs on some other physical things.

Their attraction quickly starts to grow, but they are huge rivals. Whatever they are doing can't be good. But they can't deny their feelings.

When jealousy, fear, and a prank goes too far they are forced to see just how much they mean to each other.

This is a fun read with lots of the characters from the first Peach State books showing up.

4/5 stars 3/5 spice

This was a fun and lighthearted read. Two rival frat presidents taking an interest in one another and exploring their feelings. Lance was sweetheart who was always there for others and Ty was loyal, although he had the playboy status, he was hooked on Lance. It was nice to see them bond over the grief of family members and be there for each other.

Their frat brothers were super entertaining. I loved that that they were all supportive of Lance and Ty being together, and how they were there for them in their time of need. The pranks were fun and showed unity within the frats when they stuck out their embarrassing moments together.

Ryan was a real character and I’m excited for his book next with Marty, his total opposite and temporary roommate.

What we did has awakened something in me, this curiosity I never considered might be lingering inside me.
I’ll be honest: I’m not a fan of books with college settings, unless they involve sports—for the record, I’ve read them and found them to be good reads for the most part, but I’m not the biggest fan. That said, I really liked this story because it has a coherent plot. However, I found the first third of the book slower than usual for a slow-burn romance, and there were some gaps that, while this book is a standalone but part of a series, could have been avoided.

This is my first book from Devon McCormack, and I’m pleased with the result. I’d like to read more of his books (I already have several in my sights), and this series in particular (Marty, come to me!!). It’s a story with a healthy dose of exciting rivalry with queer characters and some very spicy and funny moments.

“I notice the way he’s looking at me, and it’s weird, like this is the first time he’s ever seen my face. I want to crawl out of my goddamn skin and slip away, but also, don’t want to move. Don’t want him to stop.”

Frat Around and Find Out is the first book in the Peach State Fratbros series and it’s the follow up of the Peach State Stepbros series. I haven’t read the other series, but I’m going to do it ASAP.

This book is a fun, feel-good read that has gotten me smiling through most of it. Ty and Lance are rival frat presidents in their senior year, but it’s more playful competition than actual enemies. They love messing with each other, but you can tell right away there’s something more going on. There’s lots of flirting, lots of tension, and a slow burn kind of vibe (though they are oblivious to it) that totally enthralled me when it finally clicked.

“I really just want to hang with him because once again, I’m reminded that despite how much hell we give each other, we get each other on some level.”

What I really liked, though, was how the story mixes all the frat boy chaos with some real emotional stuff. Both guys are carrying some heavy baggage from their pasts, and the way they slowly open up to each other was really sweet.

“It’s more than what he’s stirred in my body, though. I enjoy spending time with him, talking to him. Especially now that I know we have this shared experience binding us together.”

Their relationship was more than a fun hookup because they actually get each other, and that connection and how they realise how they feel for each other was an important aspect in the story. Also, the chemistry? Off the charts. You could tell these weren’t just two guys fooling around, they were figuring themselves out, and each other, in the process.

“His fault that I’m enamored
Lance has broken me, and I don’t want to be fixed.”

“It’s wild to think how awkward we were at first, and now being close to him feels like the most natural thing in the world.”

I also liked the frat setting. The pranks, the TaskFrat challenges, the banter, the group dynamics... it was all hilarious. Plus, the rest of the frat bros were surprisingly supportive. I loved the secondary characters (Ash, Marty, Ryan, Jaxon, Dax, Payton… and the Frat Cat), they help keep things fun and interesting. They’ve all got their own quirks and moments that add a lot to the plot.

This book is a fun start to the new series. I’m already excited for Marty and Ryan’s book. If it’s anything like this one, it’s going to be a great time.

“Is Ty Lancaster hung up on me?” It’s clear he’s joking, but I can’t help saying, “Yes.”

I received an ARC via Gay Romance Reviews for free, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

🍑 Frat Around and Find Out 🍑

Lance and Ty are both presidents of their respective (rival) frats. When a prank gone wrong leads them to discover that there might be a spark between them, they decide to explore this new possibility together.

I saw this title and requested the ARC almost before I’d even read the blurb - there was literally no universe in which I wasn’t going to read a book called ‘Frat Around and Find Out’. This is a super sweet, low angst romance between two frat bros from opposing frats. The competitive streak between Lance and Ty means that they’re always hyper aware of each other, which only increases after a prank results in them being a bit more intimately acquainted than they intended. There’s a dramatic plot element added due to both mc’s dealing with the grief of a close loved one, which they bond over and adds some depth to their relationship.

I really enjoyed this and particularly like how willing they were to explore their attraction and make their relationship known to their friends once they were more sure of their feelings. The secondary characters were also really cute and likeable and I’m looking forward to reading about them in the following books.

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fairly quick, low-angst read.
