The story is okay. Although the books are known worldwide, I think the book is not the best I have read.

Twilight really is that girl!!!
I’ve never read the books, but I’ve obviously seen the movies many, many times.
I’m most shocked by how much I loved Bella as a female main character. So much of her (and Edward’s) personality is lost in the movie - as much as I love R. Patt and K. Stew. Their awkwardness really overshadows the rest! This book was funny, it was tense, and it was gripping. I knew everything that would happen, yet I still didn’t want to stop reading it!!
I loved the insights we have already gotten into Edward, Esme, Carlisle, and Alice’s backstories that we don’t ever fully get in the movies. Even Bella’s relationship with her mom is more fully fledged out.
I can’t believe how much more important Mike Newton is in this book. More time was devoted to that kid than the vampires hunting Bella down to kill her.
I do feel bad for anyone who truly believes these books have a love triangle… it was always going to be Edward!!?!? Anything else is a delusion!

Simply the most perfect read for Autumn. Bearing in mind I take a month on average to read a book based on this app’s stats… I SPED through rereading this book! My screen time has never been so low.
I wish the final battle had more set up. It feels like it was tacked on at the end.

Oh, shaddup.
This addition I blame on Erin Hare. It had better be good. :)

Mokay, so I'm done. This book meandered from poor to poor but interesting. I'm interested enough to continue on with the series despite the hackneyed and simplistic writing. I get it that this is a book labeled for young adults, but I don't think I'd be challenged if I were to have read this when I was 12. I think young adult writers need to take a little more responsibility in that area by using more sophisticated sentence structure and even PSAT vocab.
