3.5 Stars.
I really loved the first two books in this trilogy and I waited so long for this to come out. And now that I finally managed to read it I feel rather disappointed. It took me a bit to get back into the story at first because it’s been so long since I’ve read the first two books but once I got into it it was an easy read. And then it was over. And I didn’t really felt like all my questions were answered or that any of the characters had a great development throughout the book.
However I would still recommend picking up the series (not only for it’s beautiful covers) but also because I think the idea behind the story is brilliant and the first two books were amazing.

It's not often for a series to bring up so many emotions for me but this trilogy has made me cry multiple times. Such a beautifully written series and I'm so glad I was drawn in by the pretty shine of the covers.

Hurried and lacklustre ending to a hit and miss trilogy. It had potential, and some good moments, but overall it was disappointing.

I'm really sad to say I didn't get the ending of this book. I was hoping for something different and the characters and their actions just didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

I loved all the stories and dream sequences, but I just felt like there wasn't a lot of resolution and it was quite rushed.

I also feel like the romance element was still very under-developed, I know it's YA and these are literally 16/17-year-olds but they barely know each other? Just another plot point that struck me as odd.

I think the premise was super interesting and a great plot device. Exploring differences in faith (despite the similarities) and how love/kindness can bring opposing sides together was a fantastic concept. I just think the final execution of the plot and it's wrap up could have ended differently.
