Very informative. Underlined a fair few points. The structure and flow of chapters is good. I definitely learnt a lot about certain flags, however, at some points Tim's bias was clear to see.

Very enjoyable - a good follow-up to Prisoners of Geography. Tim Marshall is funny and interesting and has a tremendous grasp of history and sense of place.

It's a shame that the pictures at the start of the chapters were not printed in colour and that the editor chose to do a plate section rather than integrate the flags into the text, but with a bit of flipping back and forwards you can follow the story and see the results.

Very good book that recounts stories, symbolisms, and fun facts about the flags of the world. Made me want to read more from this author
