Honestly I didn’t really like this book? The first 65 percent was confusing as hell and it took forever for them to get to the point. It dragged on , had plot holes, the ending was okay I guess, but idk just overall not for me, I just felt bored with this β€œthriller”

'𝘈 𝘏𝘒𝘱𝘱𝘺 π˜”π˜’π˜³π˜³π˜ͺ𝘒𝘨𝘦' was definitely a fast-paced thriller, which included short chapters and multiple POVs.

Two of the three main characters were absolutely unhinged! I think that this book would make a really good movie or Netflix limited series.

Thank you NetGalley, A.R. Torre and Thomas & Mercer for an advanced copy in exchange for a honest review!

My second book from Torre and it’s another super suspenseful read. This was not at all what I expected! I loved the dynamic between Dinah and Joe - it was a love affair for the ages lol. Watching the investigation unfold was enjoyable and there were many twists along the way. Some parts are a bit unbelievable but it was a fun ride nonetheless.

β€’ psychological thriller β€’ domestic suspense β€’ murder mystery and then some β€’ one seriously f-ed up marriage β€’ shockingly twisted β€’ multiple POVs β€’

While I didn't like this as much as her other work, I still have to give her props for always thinking outside the box and delivering something different from your average thriller.

The writing was on par as usual, and I was engaged, but I had to rewind a few times because the twists were a little too convoluted for me.

Alessandra Torre remains an auto-buy and favorite author for me, despite this less-than-stellar effort.

πŸŽ™οΈPaige Reisenfeld, Charlotte Lobdell, & Jonathon Davis did a great job with the narration.
