My jaw is genuinely on the floor this is crazy. This book is truly the best that YA fantasy has to offer, the feelings I got as a kid reading my first books with the nuance of the modern world and exploration of race within the genre that I’ve been reading more recently. The exploration of grief is also one that affects me deeply, I feel Bree’s pain having to go through life without her mother 

What truly ties us together is not blood but pain. When we love someone and lose them, that loss imprints itself on everyone else we love too.

I love this series but o swear it may kill me. I’m so glad I waited to read this till the third book was out or I wouldn’t have made it, the suspense would kill me. 

Read this series it’s infectious, delightful, and enthralling. It’s amazing and I can’t think of anything bad to say about this series thus far. The author is truly a gem.
