Oh wow. This book completely blew Legendborn out of the water for me. My critiques of the first book, and my hopes for Bloodmarked were satisfyingly met: More side character development, and less lore-dumpy chapters. Alice, Valec, William, Selwyn, just to name a few characters that really flourished for me, and though i was sad that Nick was absent for most of the book, I really enjoyed the way he was still incorporated into the story via Arthur’s memories. The mixing of Arthur’s power and Bree’s blood crafting was supremely interesting and I enjoyed every plot point that surronded it. I could honestly go on and on about how much this book landed for me, but I’ll just end this off by saying how excited i am to read the next instillment of the legendborn series. oh and. Chapter 52 WILL guest star in my dreams tn. loordie.

Yikes. Honestly feels like Legendborn was a completely different story. Love triangle is meh. A lot of things didn't make sense. Overall I'm unhappy.
