what a wonderful read! this book just like the first installment manages to deal with very real themes while being first and foremost fantasy. bree is an incredible main character, you easily feel everything that she feels her grief, her pain, her anguish, her happiness... i also love the development of sel throughout this book and it made the love triangle with bree and nick especially compelling. by the time you reach the second half of the book, you don't know which boy to root for, tracy truly knows what she is doing. i absolutely adore bree, nick and sel's connection and bree's friendships with alice and also william. i love this story and these characters to death and i can't wait to see how the trilogy concludes
