brb losing my mind because holy shit????? just read the final 350 pages in one sitting bc I couldn’t handle putting it down. I am obsessed with these people and even when they’re making dumb ass decisions bc they’re teenagers I am so ready to follow wherever it takes them. I’m wary of the ending and whatever that was, but book 3 is now on hold at the library so we’ll find out soon enough!!!! I am surprised with how much I enjoyed the sel love triangle developments, he is absolutely an ass but I was honestly kind of here for it

The overall storyline was fun, but the pacing was all over the place. At times it felt like whiplash between fights, ambushes and chases and I think it would benefit from more calm moments and also Briana learning how to control and use her powers. Will finish the trilogy but this one definitely did not hit as hard as Legendborn
