A little too obvious and unsubtle when it delivered its main themes and messages. But Convenience Store Woman is an adorable novel which made me smile throughout and feel proud of the protagonist and myself for never trying to fit in with the crowd.

Know yourself, know what you want and go after it unapologetically (unless it hurts anyone, anyone including yourself). I love self-aware female characters. It is truly important to always choose your happiness and to be self-aware, because to accept life fully is to accept yourself completely, isn’t it.
