By the 100th “pretty boy” my eyes were rolled so far back in my head I could see behind me. I couldn’t get behind the plot or the poorly written characters. A redeeming star for steamy sex scenes, but that’s it.

First chapter had me but the humar and banter fell flat after that. Good enough plot and a twist, but her independence and individuality really went out the door while her insecurities and limitation began once they were interested in each other. Fun how the other books are tied together but not an advanced sexual journey

Unfortunately I went into this book thinking it would be much darker than it is. However, there are some great gruesome moments and that’s what kept me reading. I almost stopped at 70% though. The book seemed pretty wrapped up by then, but that last few chapters were good and had a cute ending.
It just kind of ended up being too normal?? If that makes sense. I was ready for serial killer behavior, not two almost regular people with a side hobby for killing.
