Why did it take me so long to pick this up? 😵 I loved this so much!!! Mind you, this is definitely DARK. The romance itself isn't actually dark but the murders are. 🤣 The murders are SO descriptive and I even got quite squeamish at a few of them. 🤢 But I got past it!
The cannibalism scene made me laugh my ass off. Never in a million years would have thought this would ever happen lmao 🤣 But... yeah, I'm never touching cookies and cream ice cream again in my LIFE. I thought the booktokers were exaggerating. Nope. ❌

I loved the raw emotional vulnerability the characters were able to give to each other. the banter had potential but could have used a thesaurus and the erotica was not my flavor of spice which were both negatives, but a fun little romp easy enough to skim sections of and still enjoy.

I heard a lot of hubbub about this book so decided to take a dip into the spicy genre. Its cute. I finished it pretty fast and think it was a lot fun. I will read the next two books in the trilogy by the author at some point for the giggles.
