I read this in high school and all I can say is it is so very disturbing. Kind of like a more realistic president snow who decides he is bored with hunting just any old animal. So he decides to go after the top dog of the animal kingdom..."man kind". Definitely a heart thumper.

This bite-sized nugget was just enough to have me guessing what in the world was going on but also "what would I do?" which is all I need for a great tale. The book is proof that you don't need a three hundred paged novel to inflict the reader with dread, questioning, and conclusions; conclusions that I think were presented in the best way possible. You know how it ends, but do you really?

another short story. interesting idea. but not much oomph. definitely giving you read this in english class and your teacher makes you analyze it to death vibes. fun ending i guess. i really don’t have much to say about this. this story just exists and that’s my commentary on it.
