So much was wrapped up in this installment! After months of reading and thousands of pages waiting for something Jordan alluded to to finally happen, #13 really started to bring some of the plot points home. It ended basically in the middle of a sentence, plot-wise, so it’s very clear Sanderson had to split his last book into pieces, and I’m wondering how everything ends in just one more book without being rushed, but we’re here! The Last Battle!

It will feel extremely weird not to be reading WoT anymore, after almost two years of slogging through this series, but I am so excited to accomplish it!

Se percibe que esta novela es la entrega de transición en el tríptico final de Sanderson, pero, gracias a su buen ritmo y a la buena evolución de la mayoría de los personajes, la historia se bebe al igual que la entrega anterior. Ahora sí que los dados están echados, diría Mat, y solo nos queda el desenlace.
Para el último libro, quiero ir con las expectativas bajas y mi mayor anhelo es que el encuentro final sea equitativo entre los personajes y que no se concentre en quienes acumulan más poder. Sería injusto para esta presentación coral, que en muchos libros fue excesiva, que la esperada batalla final la decida un individuo.

My only minor complaint is that the events are slightly out of order. For example Rand in the last book had a vision of Perrin and the whitecloaks and those events occurred in this book. So when that happens it lessens what should be big reveals. Other than that one small issue which doesn’t take away from the story this is an amazing penultimate entry. All the pieces are set the last battle is coming.

I don't remember a lot of details of this one and forgot to write a review right when I finished it, but the quality continued to be high and keep me really invested going into the last book.
