"Small things were important. Seconds were small things, and if you heaped enough of those on top of one another, they became a man's life."

" 'O, Grady,' Mat said, waiving, 'blown up anyone interesting lately?' The tanned Ashaman frowned, looking to Perrin. 'M'lord, Lady Faile asked me to remind you when midnight arrived.' Mat whistled. 'See? This is why I left my wife in another kingdom.' "

Finally the plot advances! I stopped reading these for a while, but decided to invest a few more hours because the next one will be the final one!!!!!

3.5! It was boring in parts but a lot of dense content packed into one book. The ending was great :)

...... BRUH.....

These characters are so much fun to follow, and as we're approaching the end of the series, it's really satisfying for their character arcs to begin clicking in to place and being able to look back at how far they've all come. Each of their plots is interesting on their own, but I'm especially loving how some of their plots are starting to weave back together in preparation for the finale!
