An engaging fantasy series.

i knew Grace was going to become a wolf right when she started having fevers. i'm glad that she did because she always wanted to know what it would be like. But for Sam, this causes a major conflict and he has to search for the cure for both of them in order to survive.

Maggie Stiefvater is a sorceress with words, and I am completely and utterly enchanted. I am also so very anxious for the next book in this series. My heart is aching right now! Linger is much darker than Shiver, but still very very good. Sam just breaks my heart with his sweetness, Grace is such a treasure, Cole is an intriguing new character, and Isabel is so much more than the cold bitch she likes to make everyone think she is. These characters are the heart of the story. They make me want to read more. Of course, there are the wolves and the mystery of whether or not there is a cure. There's those beautiful woods that Grace likes to escape to as well. Oh how I wish I could take a walk through their misty depths. I'm so caught up in Grace and Sam's story that I know I will have to buy the next book as soon as it comes out because I couldn't possibly wait for it to come into the library.

I enjoyed Linger a lot more then I enjoyed the first book. It was more gritty and kept you intrigued and wanting to know more. Looking forward to reading Forever so I can find out what happens next. Just wish the first book kept me as hooked as this book did.

A bit of a slow book. I had to switch to the audio book 1/3 of the way in. I’ve got more questions, but I also got some answers.

I liked the additional characters in this book. Grace and Sam were the focal point, but you got new perspective in Cole and Isabel

I really enjoyed Shiver so was hoping to feel the same way about this book but it didn't quite hold up to the promise of the first. The additional POV's (Cole and Isabel) made the story feel a bit disjointed and Cole is so far gone that I had difficult feeling any sympathy for him. Not sure if I will bother with the third book.

It was so good!!!!!!!!!!!! Why did the end have to happen!!!!!! I wanted to cry but I couldn't!!!!!!!!! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
