This is a solid middle part of a trilogy it is well written I love the story and characters. I like how the story progressed and the fact there was more point of views to read it made it more interesting. I like how the characters develop throughout the story. I still no do like Grace's parents they act like parents only when it suits them. I love the story and the end even though it is a cliffhanger that just means that I will be reading the last book soon. So overall I would say this is a really good book that I enjoyed reading.
So this was a pretty good book but I felt that there was a lot going on. There are probably people that would disagree about that but I thought the first was better. I didn't like the ending.

Quite a bit lustier than the first book but I like the writing so much that I don't care. The characters aren't the typical vacuous teens so they are more interesting. There better be a third book.
I wasn't able to get this from any of my local libraries in Kindle format, so I decided to try out an audio book. I commute for about an hour each day, so I have plenty of time to listen to audio books. It's actually a rather pleasant way to commute.
I really liked the plot of this book. I enjoyed the introduction of Cole and the further development of Isabel's character. I enjoyed learning more about Sam and Grace's relationship. All that said, I don't think I like the audio book format as well. Not everything is meant to be an audio book. Angsty YA lit should be left to actual pages of a book (or screen of a Kindle). The narrators were almost painful at times. Total overacting. Think about the dreadful acting from the first Twilight movie. Now turn that into the reading of an audio book.
(Of course, I say all this, but have every intention of "reading" the final book in this trilogy the same was as it, too, is not available at my library for Kindle and I don't like the books well enough to buy them.)

I liked it -- the one criticism I have is that it was sometimes hard to differentiate between the different voices in it -- it was told first-person through a variety of different characters. It is an interesting story, can't wait for the next one!
I didn't like this one as much as I liked Shiver. I had a hard time getting into it at times because of the switching of perspectives. Sometimes I has to go back a page to remember who was doing the talking. However, I still liked the story and care about the characters. It took turn at the end I was expecting, and one turn I didn't expect. I will read the next one.
