I'm very glad I stuck through the first book to get to this one- this one has more teeth, so to speak, as it grows with our protagonists and gains nuance and perspective. This does some beautiful things with and to the shifter genre, and the fated mates trope.

Just as good as the first. It was great, Sam and Grace will forever be one of my favorite couples, and I loved the introduction of Cole! The drama was good, the romance was good, the actual serious stuff was good. Altogether great read

ok so i read this sequel just because my friend jessie gave me the whole trilogy (merci jessoue) (the first book was really meh for me) but i enjoyed this one a bit more (even if this is not ya at its best) and will read the third book because i want to ☺️ not much happened but i wasn’t annoyed like i was in the first book, this one felt a bit less cliché.

I really don’t know why I continued this series.  I hated the characters just as much as I did in the first book.  The plot feels like it’s too much forced romance that we’re told to care about but it has nothing convincing.  This series should have ended at book one honestly with how much this dragged out for no reason.  The problems seem so unnecessary as if there isn’t an actual plot.

Great book, can't wait for the next.

IDK why but the feels don't really hit me.

Not as good as the first one but still worth the read! I'm reading these in the Trilogy for Kindle, and this book and the next one are very light font-wise.
