Eh, not my favorite so far. I need to take a few weeks off from Jordan, I think. Few big moments, but didn't feel balanced.
Much better than the previous installment of the series, but I still feel like Jordan could have used a heavier hand with editing in a few places.

Not as huge a change of pace from the previous books as I expected. There were some great moments, but I feel that the slog pulled too much from me. I'll keep on reading.
My last review of 2 stars had to be a mistake while thinking of the previous book. This one is now among my favorites, so so so much gets really over and set up. The huge moments and 8 or more major threads that got resolved. So good so fun!
As the last full book that Robert Jordan wrote before he passed, it's probably the best one he's written. It's honestly in my top three, no question. So many plot points are acted upon or come to a conclusion, most in an incredibly satisfying way. Mat's relationship with Tuon, Perrin's rescue of Faile, Egwene's clever infiltration of the White Tower, it's everything I've come to love from Robert Jordan's writing with hardly any of the fat that held back entries like LoC or CoS. A fantastic set up to what he planned on being the final book in his series.

I liked this one better than the past few, haha! I think I just keep reading these books when I'm going through it and it's hard to focus?? Anyways, on to the next!
