Read this book about six months back and dwelled on it for a bit. Not in a good way. I have to give the narrative credit for it's daring nature in the face of historic challenges, and I also have to take into account the proclivities of the time period. For what it is, I am glad that it has a happy ending of sorts. But to say I enjoyed it would be a lie.
