WHY WAS THE FIRST 200 SO SLOW?! I love background- it's why I have a hard time finishing series. Too much action later on, not enough new peopling. But for the love of cheese, the first 200 pages were tough to slog through. When the action finally started, the pace picked up. And finally I was intrigued. I will be reading the 2nd book, but hope it's better than the first!
