3.75 This book felt a little grapey if you know what I mean. I feel like the first book was just done so much better than this one. It still had a decent plot but damn a little uncomfortable at times. I am looking forward to finishing this series and moving onto the Carnage series because we got introduced to the brothers in this book and I think I may like those a little more.

This one was waaaaaaay better than the first book. Honestly I almost didn’t continue with this series after the first one took me a month and a half to read because it was so bad. If i didn’t buy the 3rd book first by accident i would have probably just left this universe altogether.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Do I still think it’s a bit to long and filled with unnecessary sex scenes? Yes. My eyes started glazing over after 400 pages of it. The rest of the story was very dynamic and interesting. Full of twists and turns that I was not expecting. Especially the twist in the first epilogue.

This book has saved the series for me and I will be continuing to Tyson’s book. Which I’m excited about!
