From the very first book, I was a goner. A goner for the story, the friendships, the bonds, the sacrifice, the heartache, the love, just everything…I was wholly consumed and I could not put this story down. Any time I had to, I was counting down the minutes until I could have it back in my hands whether it was audio or via ebook. J. Bree kept my heart rate through the roof with the intensity she brought with this story. There’s so many mysteries and layers and I was eager to unravel every single one even when I didn’t know what lay beneath. This series was enemies to lovers, RH, dark romance…all my Kindle crack wrapped in one. Ash, Harley and Blaise…oh my, these three all brought something incredible and unique to the table individually but the one thing about them they all had in common that made them truly undeniable was their heart. They would go toe to toe with whoever, whenever for each other, their girls and their family. I say girls because though Avery wasn’t a part of the harem, she was for sure an important part to the story. They got off to one hell of a rocky start but turns out Avery and Lips were two peas in a pod. I lived for their moments on the page together. It wasn’t even just the five that stole your heart but others like freaking Illi aka The Butcher and Odie, ugh I need more of them ASAP! I was also left desperately anxious for Avery’s own story which I’m sure will be a banger. This series was one that didn’t just focus on just the romantic aspect but it explored the dynamics of friendship, sisterhood and found family and it was amazing. When I tell you there was never a dull moment. To have a four book series like this that never loses its momentum is not the easiest but J. Bree did spectacular. There was never a time I questioned a reason for multiple books…every letter, every word made sense. Honestly, I would’ve taken more, truth be told I wanted more. I was legitimately sad to get to the acknowledgments because I just wanted to continue living in that world no matter how dark and messed up it could be because there unforgettable group of people who made it all worth it.
The characters are all really overbearing and upsetting like she is basically a mercenary LEAVE HER ALONE

This series was amazingly good. I cannot say enough good things. All the characters are some of my favorites ever. I cannot find any flaws. I loved and hated fiercely right along with them. I can’t wait to see how the spinoffs go, especially for Poe.

Great ending to a series. I've been looking forward to this since I finished the last book and I read it in one sitting. It introduced us to new characters: The Devil, The Boar, Poe and we finally got to see if all of Lips' guys could rise to be part of the Wolf's crew. Now I'm looking forward to The Butcher's story and can't wait to see what happens with Avery, Atticus, and Aodhan. I just know there's a story waiting there also. Kindle Unlimited's great, but I'm going to be buying the whole series.

Wow
It’s over and I’m absolutely gutted that the story had ended but happy at how everything worked out for Lips and her family. But damn. Son. This hit me in the feels and kept punching. Absolutely one of my favourite series ever.

The ending to this series is crazy. Lips definitely went out with a gory and bloodstained bang! All the loose ends were all tied up and the ending was shocking. I never would have guessed it and everytime I think back to see if there were any clues I am still drawing a blank. It was a welcome surprise and I hope that J. Bree does a spinoff series with that storyline. This book was less believable than the other books just because of the amount of carnage, the fact that they are going up against deranged psycopaths, hard-core mobsters, and end up for the most part unscathed.
