Too long. Good continuation of the story though. Nothing surprising, if u like her books, i will like this one too. Except it is was way too long.

It’s 1779 and the American Revolution is happening. Brianna and Roger have returned to the Ridge with tales of what happened in 1980, how Jem and Mandy are connected enough to move through time, and with the fear that people may come after them as even time travel isn’t far enough. Meanwhile, William knows the truth and while dealing with his life having flipped upside down, he’s searching for his cousin, not sure how to deal with his stepfather and uncle, and trying to help keep the Grey family together during siege, heartbreak, treason, and disappearances. Ian’s past comes back, Jamie learns more about Frank, and Claire learns about McEwan and her own blue light like Master Raymond had. All while John Grey’s past comes back to haunt him from the Plains of Abraham, to Neil the Cunt, to the return of Perseverance, and threats that could not only get him killed, but hurt his family…

Reasons I Recommend:

1) Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, like MOBY, really brings all of the novellas, short stories, and big books together as we start to wrap up almost forty years of story

2) John’s past, William’s future, and seeing the next generation settle because of Jamie and Claire’s love story and

3) The ending we all knew was coming… how will Jamie be able to help his son and the best friend he gave up on and most importantly, will he?

One of the worse Outlander books but I’m trash for this series. I mean, why else would I be on book 9?

Diana, this is your sign that you’re cut off from the phrase “I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding.” Just saying, girl.

I need more William. Is that a popular opinion? I don’t know, but it’s my opinion. I specifically need his angst.
