Oh. My. God. This book. This was one of the first books where I saw trauma represented and written so perfectly. I don’t think this duet would have been as perfect as it was with out all of the on page sex trafficking scenes. I don’t hate characters often but Sydney was a piece of work. I loved the way Zade worked Adeline through all of her trauma and was so patient and understanding. Has he got a god complex, yes. Do I love the f*ck out of him anyway. Absolutely. Beautifully written and a phenomenal story that had me hooked from the beginning.

It killed me inside.

12/10! A difficult story that needs to be told, told in the best way possible. I’m left needing a Zade in my life ASAP!

Haunting Adeline kept me hooked from start to finish. It’s dark and intense, with plenty of twists to keep things interesting. The chemistry between the characters is electric, and the suspense really builds well throughout the story. I just wish some parts were a bit tighter—there were moments that dragged for me. Still, it’s a gripping read if you like your romance with a strong edge of mystery and danger.

Why the fuck was it so long this book should have ended three hundred pages ago it just dragged on and on and on.
