4.25⭐️ -"Be safe, princesa" SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP.-
Okay where do I start... This book was wayyyyyyy better than the first one, idk why i liked it more but it was so entertaining. The first part of the book intrigued me a lot by the 2 povs and how you got both points of the story, and i actually loved that. While Addie was gone Zade was FERAL after her and i loved that (used his stalking fucking mechanisms for something useful (finally)).
Zade continues being so funny in this book but like someone pls tell him to quit on the "god" kink, it's not cute.
My favorite parts of this book was angry Adeline, when she finally put some sense in her mind and went a little crazy with Zade and all of her ptsd after the kidnapping and everything she went through. I thought she was really strong for everything she went through and i will give her credit for that even though i don't really like her.
But who i DO LOVE are Sibby and Rio (ps.my husband). Yes Sibby is like a freaking psycho and schizophrenic as shit buttttt she was so funny, i lowkey can't wait to read her book and her second book that the author confirmed. Now Riooooo AHHHH where do i start about him, I loved him, he like made the whole first part of the book worth it for me. Like he was so sweet and yes he did kidnap Addie and help to all that stuff but we find out stuff about him and his character develops throughout the parts he's in. But holy i loved him and i CAN'T WAIT to read his book omfg.

if I could erase this book, better yet this series from my memory I would choose not to, simply so I could remember NEVER to pick it up again. The first book was already a tough read, this one is even more difficult and it took a much darker tone, why I even bothered to finish the first one I will not know, perhaps it’s because I prefer to give books a full chance before making my mind up about them but even then there are some lines that need to be drawn. I expected Addie to be saved early on in the book and perhaps see a more lighter side of her life with Zade to redeem the darker parts of the first book, but that is not at all what this was - don’t go blindly into reading book sometimes the risk of spoilers is necessary.
I must outline that I didn’t particularly enjoy these books as it was simply not my taste and perhaps I should have did more research, the first book was tolerable but the second was too disturbing for me. I only am writing these reviews for my own benefit so I can refer to them later down the line, I did not rate the first book as since this is not a genre I like in general I would not be able to fairly decide how many stars to give it.
If these books are for you more power to you but for me it’s definitely a skip.
