This was a fun quick read, especially for swifties! The only thing it needed was a juicy epilogue!! I wanted a more thorough glimpse into their happily ever after!!

Initially I rated this book 3, but on reflection of the characters I knocked half a point off. Details behind the spoiler tag.
The more I think about her, the more Lacey seems like a sociopath to me. Her apologies are halfhearted, and she basically requires Jimmy to accept all of her manipulation and won't make any compromises for him. If a male character behaved this way I probably would have DNF'ed the book.

Don’t get me wrong, I have been a swiftie since debut, but I don’t care for celebrity relationships that much and this was basically a copy and paste Taylor and Travis’s relationship. I wish the author would have made the story/characters more unique. I also did not feel the chemistry between the main characters at all.

This was a quick, fun read! There are some very real emotional challenges that the characters deal with, but they are not explored heavily throughout the book (I think that is to keep the light vibe going). The only think I can't get over is that this is very RPF adjacent. I wish the characters would have been developed more so that I wasn't just thinking, this is X celebrity, but if she was brunette.
