Not really funny (was it supposed to be funny?) and not super helpful if you're already pretty adept at keeping your space clean and organized and just looking for some deeper insight to go further.

I loved this book - I started with her other book, Decluttering at the Speed of Life, and enjoyed the audio version of it so much that I immediately downloaded this when my next audible credit popped up. I find Dana refreshing, relatable, and so funny. I listen to her while I'm decluttering and it is great company and motivation, and I really appreciate the reminder that maintaining my home is often as simple as starting and keeping a short and easy (less than half an hour) routine each day.
“Here’s what I had to accept: Cleaning my house is not a project. It’s a series of boring, mundane, repetitive tasks. The people whose homes are clean all the time do these boring, mundane, repetitive tasks.”
This probably just isn’t the book for me. There are a couple of good ideas but they are hidden in not-very-funny, repetitive anecdotes.
