The plot to this horror fantasy is very thin though. It was a fun ride but was pretty surface level. I never found myself caring about any of the characters and so their awful fates didn’t resonate with me to the slightest.
This is a very artfully done abstract piece of horror that is absolute worth a read (mostly due to the low page count) but won’t be one I revisit in the future.
